I was tagged to do this a LOOONG time ago by KJanuary, who is awesome!  I did the drawing-meme-thing for this and posted it yesterday, but that won't stop me from doing this version too!

Uh… I can't decide which ten characters to choose, so we'll just make this a family matter, shall we? :D  ALL DEATH WISH CHARACTERS GO!

Choose 10 of your OCs (or other cool people.)
1. Cherie
2. Will
3. Lily
4. The Lady
5. Mel
6. Nox
7. Faith
8. Gray
9. Nox
10. Pathetic Guy  (I need a tenth character, and this guy pops up right at the end of the story and I like him so he gets in. >_> Even though he doesn't have a name.)

Just so everyone knows the characters, The Lady is the mother of six kids: Cherie, Hate, Mel, Faith, Will, and Gray, and they're all pretty much immortal.  Lily is Gray's wife by this point, and Nox is… a friend of the family?  The Pathetic Guy is a surprise I'm not willing to divulge at this time. :3

Four invites Three and Eight to dinner at their house.
[4: The Lady, 3: Lily, 8: Gray]  Gray is terrified, but Lily takes this as a challenge and accepts the invitation.  Lily spends most of the dinner smiling through her teeth at her mother-in-law, while the Lady fusses over Gray like he's two.  (He's her youngest, you see.  She can't let go.)

Nine tries to get Five to a strip club.
[9: Nox, 5: Mel]  I can see how that would happen — running the Regions must be stressful.  Nox wanted a break, and Mel was happy to go along.  They have trouble getting through the doors at first, since Nox looks like a ten-year-old, but once past that they have a good time and make plans to drag Hate along with them next time they go.

I, however, would be planning their burials.  It'd be tricky, since Nox is already dead and Mel is immortal, but I'd figure something out.

You need to stay at a friend's house for a night. Who do you choose, One or Six?
[One: Cherie, Six: Hate]   He doesn't technically have a house but—Hate, hands down.  He's a real downer, and a brute, but he sleeps under the stars and sometimes you can even get him to tell campfire stories!  GOOD ones, too.  Cherie, through?  I couldn't last ten minutes with her.  (Especially since, as her author, I'm immune to her love-powers.)

Two and Seven are making out. Ten walks in.
[2: Will, 7: Faith, 10: Pathetic Guy]  … Will and Faith are twins.  That is wrong.  But knowing Pathetic Guy, he'd probably think it was really romantic and let them be.  ("Love that overcomes all obstacles" or some such rot.) … SO wrong.

Three falls in love with Six. Eight is jealous.
[3: Lily, 6: Hate, 8: Gray]  Hate tells Cherie to stop messing with the emotions of mortals.  She refuses, since she loves annoying Hate however she can.  But Gray finally cues in on what's going on and saves Lily by sweeping her off to China.  She recovers her senses and they have a second honeymoon together.

Four jumps you in a dark alleyway. Who comes to your rescue: Ten, Two, or Seven?
[4: The Lady, 10: Pathetic Guy, 2: Will, 7: Faith]  Well, the Lady could take all four of us down at once with her hands tied behind her back, so it wouldn't really matter who.  But since Pathetic Guy would never raise a finger against the Lady, it'd have to be Will.  And Will and Faith do everything together, so it'd be both of them, most likely.  But the only reason why the Lady would ever jump me in a dark alleyway would be to scare me witless, so most likely Will would be scolding her while Faith was comforting me, and Pathetic Guy laughs uproariously, going on about the look on my face.

One decides to start a cooking show. Fifteen minutes later...:
[1: Cherie] She's ruling the Cooking Channel and her products are flying off the shelves before they're even properly cooled.  Her magnetism on the TV screen alone would have made that happen, but she's also a very good cook.  Comes from the mother side in her.  Luckily, the Lady forbids her from making public displays like this.

Three has to marry either Eight, Four or Nine.
[3: Lily, 8: Gray, 4: The Lady, 9: Nox]  Nox hopes he gets picked, and the Lady tries to set the two of them up, but since Lily and Gray are already married it's a moot point.  But hey, you can never have too much of a good thing, so they decide to get married again, maybe Japanese-style this time.  Nox shrugs off his loss and comes along with them as their camera-man.  Hate, upon hearing about Nox's sudden vacation, has to chase him down and persuade him to come back to work.

Seven kidnaps Two and demands something from Five for Two's release.
[7: Faith, 2: Will, 5: Mel]  Mel sighs, and agrees to do the dishes if she'll allow him and Will finish their chess game first.  Pinky swear.

Everyone gangs up on Three.
[3: Lily] Lily stamps one foot on the ground, demands that every shuts-up and sits-down, and glares down her nose at them until they comply.  Once seated, she explains to them exactly why this in nonsense and demands that they appear better-behaved before her next time she sees them.

Everyone is invited to Two and Ten's wedding, except for Eight. How do they react?
[2: Will, 10: Pathetic Guy, 8: Gray]  Gray is thankful not to be there.  His family is strange enough without his [insert Pathetic Guy's relation to Gray's family here] getting married to his older brother.  Everyone who is invited doesn't show up.  Including Will.  Pathetic Guy realizes his joke was a flop and goes to croon over the Lady instead.

One arrived late for Two and Ten's Wedding. What happens, and why were they late?
[1: Cherie, 2: Will, 10: Pathetic Guy]  Cherie, who thinks illogical weddings are romantic, is disappointed to find that nobody's there.  She's late because she was busy "torturing" her latest victim at her castle (and let's just leave it at that, please).

Why is Six afraid of Seven?
[6: Hate, 7: Faith]  Hate is afraid of Faith because she always sees through him.  Always.  But it's a small fear, since he trusts her enough to keep his secrets.

Five and Six get roaring drunk and end up at your house.
[5: Mel, 6: Hate]  Mel plops down on my couch (staining it) and sings old pub songs, pausing every two stanzas to laugh uproariously.  Hate goes into one of his rages and starts destroying things at random, starting with the piano, yelling curses at his older sister and his brainless mother.  I quietly leave.

Nine murders Two's best friend. What does Two do?
[9: Nox, 2: Will]  Will murders Nox.  And that's the first time I've ever even imagined hostility coming from Will.

Six and One are in mortal danger. Does Six save themselves or One?
[6: Hate, 1: Cherie] Man.  That's a really tough one.  But in the end, I think… yes.  Hate would sacrifice himself for Cherie, even though he hates her more than anyone or anything else.  Because underneath all that hate, he's got principles.  And he couldn't imagine a life that didn't include hating her.  And besides, death couldn't be that bad.   But again, moot point, since they're immortal; he'd've been dead a long time ago if he weren't.

Eight and Three go camping, but forgot to bring any food.
[8: Gray, 3: Lily]  Lily spends a bit cursing her stupidity, but Gray just magics them up some food and they have a good time anyway.

Four is in a car crash and is critically injured. What does Nine do?
[4: The Lady, 9: Nox]  Nox performs emergency first-aid, perfectly, and contacts Gray, whom he hopes can use his magic to heal the Lady.  Gray, however, is incapable of such magic and flounders helplessly.  Luckily, Lily happened to tag along and soon gets the Lady to the finest hospital on the Regions, where she is pampered hand and foot while Pathetic Guy serenades her to sleep every night.  She, of course, neglects to tell them that she'd healed herself on the first day, and enjoys a few months of this before checking out of the hospital and donating the funds necessary to build them a new wing.

That was… interesting. XD  If I'd realized there was going to be so much, um, rough-housing going on, I probably wouldn't have picked characters from the same family.  Ah well.
